Yala tented safari camp is located in the buffer zone of Yala National Park, It is the closets accommodation to the Yala National Park.

Accommodation in Yala safari camp is fitted with spacious tented camp with comfortable pillows and crisp linen. It’s an experience just like in a hotel.

Yala safari camp available throughout the year except for September full month and early October. This is due to park is closed for rejuvenation during September and October.

Yala safari camp can accommodate total of 9 people in a single booking.

Very much. We propose that due to the wild nature and often rugged off-road trails traversed during a true safari adventure, safaris are generally suitable for children over the age of 3 years. However, younger children can be accommodated on request.

The camp power source is acquired from solar power and tents are lit up with solar powered lanterns.

The Yala safari camp will be illuminated with campfire and there are oil or copra torches & site perimeter is surrounded by hurricane lanterns. These lamps are looked after till morning by staff not letting them to dwindle.

Yes guest can charge their electronic devices within the tent.

Yes the tents are air conditioned for your convenience because the climate around Yala National park is dry and sun is harsh.

The washrooms and shower facilities are located inside the tent.

If you need your own toiletries you are more than welcome to bring but the basic needs such as hand wash, body wash, shampoo and toilet paper will be provided and refilled by our staff.

Meals are freshly prepared at our jungle kitchen and you can order either Sri Lankan or western meals under the shades of trees. Lunch is served in Sri Lankan manner with boiled rice and curry with spicy Chicken/Beef/Pork with fresh salads. Dinner is served amidst a roaring log fire with western dishes such as BBQ with pork, beef, chicken, sausages and prawns. You can have your dinner under the sky filled with stars.

You will be provided with water, fresh fruit juice tea or coffee according to your requirement throughout the day. Other than that you can have chilled beer and wine.

The safari jeeps in Yala safari camp is driven by experienced drivers with special guidance with support of a park ranger. The jeeps are specially modified with high elevated front facing seats with comfy cushions. You will be provided with chilled beverages throughout the Safari ride in Yala National Park.

The Yala safari camp include the tented accommodation, all meals , all beverages , all game drives , Yala National Park entrance fees and all taxes. There is no any additional charge.

There are three main safari times in Yala Safari Camp

• Morning Yala Jeep Safari begins at 5:30 am and will retune to the campsite @ 10:30 am – 4 hours

• Afternoon Yala Jeep Safari begins at 2:30 pm and will return to campsite @ 6:30 pm – 4 hours

• Full day Yala Jeep safari begins at 5:30 am and will return to the campsite at 6:30 pm – 12 hours

There are three main safari times in Yala Safari Camp

• Cancelled by you with a notice coming to us less than 45 days prior to arrival date there will be no refund for you.

• Cancelled by you with a notice coming to us more than 45 days prior to arrival date 80% of the total will be refunded to you.

• If there is no showing up in particular date there will be no refund for you.

• None refundable fee 20% of the total value.
