Tiny stalls sell local tea or curios for interested buyers. It’s a bright and lively place to visit.

Apart from the fruit stalls and vegetable stalls there is the Nuwara Eliya winter market or bale bazzar the amazing thing in here is they sell winter clothes all year around.Bale bazzar is located in Right in the center of Nuwara Eliya town. There are piles and piles of clothes and you can leisurely browse through them and you will definitely want to buy at least one piece all sold at a fraction of their original cost. People go to winter market or bale bazaar to buy warm clothes but there are trays of shiny gold and silver jewelry too. You can cut a good bargain on these as well.
