The beauty and uniqueness of Kumana is that it is much less crowded than the other National Parks, so much so you might meet only four legged friends on your rounds; it’s like the park was created just for you! Stay in the midst of the wilds with only green cascades, bird song, the gushing river and distant wildlife calls surround you. you are in for some exciting moments just waiting to happen. Take an early morning game drive through the park and enjoy the wildlife waking up to another long day. Kumana is widely famed for its birding population and sometimes the elusive leopard and if you are lucky maybe spot a sloth bear and elephants too. Spend an interesting and enlightening day at the campsite where there is so much to do and enjoy. Help with the days cooking while familiarizing with local cuisine, take a cool river bath, indulge in photography, bird watching or even ‘meditating’.

The campsite situated by the river comes with basic tents equipped with all essentials; real beds and pillows, with flushable toilet and running water, an open sit-out where you can observer wildlife and the opportunity to enjoy good wholesome food prepared fresh everyday. This experience is one of the company’s Responsible Tourism initiatives where village folk get the opportunity to be involved in the project and thus earn a sustainable living.
